Constitution Day Lecture with Susan McWilliams Barndt
Distinguished author and scholar Susan McWilliams Barndt will lead this year’s Constitution Day Lecture, “A Tale of Two Liberalisms: Desegregating American Political Thought” at 5 p.m., on Monday, Sept. 9, in the Payne room of the Tang Teaching Museum. The lecture is one of many events this fall aimed at educating students and the broader community about the important issues at stake in the Nov. 5 U.S. elections and preparing them to participate in the democratic process.

Employee vehicle registration

Campus Safety move and interim fleet vehicle process
The Department of Campus Safety has begun its relocation from Jonsson Tower to a new office space on the first floor of the Annex. As part of this move, all fleet vehicles have been relocated to the Falstaff parking lot, where they will need to be picked up and dropped off. All vehicles have a designated parking spot, which should be clearly marked.
Call for book donations
The Scribner Library is seeking donations for its annual book sale, supporting the annual library student worker awards. Donations can be books of any genre in good condition and should be dropped off at the Circulation Desk, to the attention of Patty Kolberg.
New Burgess drinks launch and half-price deal
Burgess café is launching a new Botrista beverage system, which will make customized, made-to-order boba teas, milk teas, fruit smoothies, and refresher drinks, the week of Sept. 3. Botrista drinks will be offered at a half price discount the entire first week of classes, and representatives will offer samples.
Seeking ‘hosts' for international students
