Emergency alert and siren testing
Campus Safety will be testing the siren and 91Urgent Notification System (SUNS) at approximately 10 a.m., Monday, Sept. 23, for about 15 minutes. If you do not hear the siren, please call (ext. 5567) or email Campus Safety. Those who are signed up for SUNS notifications and do not receive a text message and/or phone call should email Lori Parks.
Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) self-study

COVID-19 and flu vaccine clinics
Health Services is partnering with Adirondack Health and Wellness to offer updated COVID-19 vaccines and flu shots from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room at the Williamson Sports Center on Friday, Sept. 20; Friday, Oct. 11; Wednesday, Oct. 16; and Friday, Nov. 8. Admissions meet and greet
Help showcase Skidmore’s caring and vibrant educational community by joining the Admissions team for lunch and casual conversation with prospective students and families from noon to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21, in Murray-Aikins Dining Hall. No RSVP is required; simply check in at noon to receive a lunch ticket and name tag.
Campus Safety Day
Campus Safety Day will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. this Friday, Sept. 20, on Case Green. There will be tabling, a "drunk goggles" demo, and a dorm room fire demo. Come for safety tips, fun, and prizes. Those who attend the dorm fire demo (4:15 p.m. at the Annex) can enter to win gift card prizes of $25, $50, and $75.
Fall fitness class registration
at the Williamson Sports Center has begun. Classes range from strength training to yoga, Pilates, and swimming. Contact Lacey Walsh for more information.
‘College and University Endowments: Purpose and Practice’
To enhance the 91community’s understanding of endowments' importance, the College will host a virtual information session from 6 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 19. Representatives of the College’s Trustee Investment Committee, its external investment advisor, and the Finance and Administration Office will provide an overview of the endowment's purpose, governance, policy guidelines, portfolio construction, historical performance, and annual spending. Questions for the presenters should be submitted to Endowment Webinar by 4 p.m. today.
Fourth Annual Lily Kishore Memorial Blood Drive
