Executive Committee
The Executive Committee (ExComm) is responsible for the administration of the SGA and serves to enhance all areas of student life.
ExComm has the power to submit recommendations and policies to the SGA Judicial Board, SGA Senate and Institutional Policy and Planning Committee.

Position Descriptions
SGA president
The SGA president is the highest-ranking officer of the SGA and the primary spokesperson and advocate for the student body. The president is charged with enforcing and implementing all policies and decisions of the Senate, Executive Committee and other SGA entities. In addition to chairing the Senate and the Executive Committee, sitting on Institutional Policy and Planning Committees (IPPC) and acting as liaison to the college鈥檚 administration, president and board of trustees, the SGA president also advises all SGA officers.
Executive vice president
The executive vice president (EVP) is the second-highest ranking officer of SGA. As chair to the (CO), the EVP oversees the creation and coordination of executive commissions, manages all students hired by SGA for communications and operations purposes, maintains official documents and is the primary manager of scheduling, purchasing, space management and social media platforms. The EVP also sits on a range of committees and commissions, including IPPC and the SGA Elections Commission.
Vice president for academic affairs
The vice president for academic affairs (VPAA) is the primary student representative and spokesperson in all matters pertaining to academics. As chair of the (AC) the VPAA ensures SGA engagement in academic policy and guarantees student representation within academic departments and programs. The VPAA also sits on a range of committees, including the Committee on Educational Policy and Planning (CEPP), the Committee on Academic Standing (CAS), the IPPC Subcommittee on Responsible Citizenship, and the IPPC Subcommittee on Institutional Effectiveness.
Vice president for financial affairs
The vice president for financial affairs (VPFA) is the primary student representative and spokesperson in all matters pertaining to SGA financial policies and procedures. As chair of the (B&F), the VPFA receives budget applications, records all SGA transactions and proposes to the Senate relevant expenditure and revenue proposals. The VPFA also sits on a range of committees including the IPPC Subcommittee on Budget and Finance, Board of Advisors for 91福利社 Emergency Medical Services (SCEMS) and Falstaff鈥檚 Operating Committee (FOC).
Vice president for student life
The vice president for student life (VPSL) is the primary student representative and spokesperson in all matters pertaining to the residential and social life of the college. As chair of the (CSL), the VPSL advises residential area senators and liaises with the college鈥檚 student life offices, including the Offices of Residential Life, Dining Services, Facilities, Campus Life and Engagement and more. The VPSL also sits on a range of committees, including the IPPC subcommittee on Student Affairs and Student Life Commission.
Vice president for club affairs
The vice president for club affairs (VPCA) is the primary student representative and spokesperson for all SGA clubs. VPCA receives, reviews, recommends and dissolves club charters and hosts club fair each semester. In addition, the VPCA chairs and calls to order the Presidents Council to facilitate a dialogue between all clubs and the Student Government Association. The VPCA also sits on a variety of committees, including Budget and Finance Committee (B&F).
Vice president for institutional diversity
The vice president for institutional diversity (VPID) is the primary advocate of inclusive practices within SGA and the college as a whole. As chair of the (CID), the VPID is responsible for ensuring that student voice and access is prioritized in all SGA initiatives and events, performs outreach initiatives and liaises with the Office of Student Diversity Programs, SGA clubs and all other relevant entities to work toward inclusive practices collegewide. The VPID also sits on a range of committees, including the Committee on Intercultural and Global Understanding and the Bias Response Group (BRG).
Vice president for engagement and outreach
The vice president for engagement and outreach (VPEO) is the primary student representative and spokesperson in all matters pertaining to SGA engagement, outreach, and communications. As chair of the Committee on Engagement and Outreach, the VPEO is responsible for ensuring that the student voice is prioritized in all SGA initiatives and events. They also regulary Collect feedback on SGA initiatives from the student body to help the SGA make informed, responsible decisions based on student input. The VPEO oversees the SGA director of communications and SGA photographer. The VPEO is involved in ensuring that SGA elections are open and advertised to all eligible members of the student body.
